Connecting the dust extraction
The tool should also be connected to an external vacuum system for removing dust, e.g. an industrial vacuum cleaner. The hose
for this connection must be purchased separately.
CAUTION! Domestic vacuum cleaners are not suitable for the extraction of grinding dust. Do not use domestic vacuum cleaners
to extract grinding dust.
Removing and mounting the guard part
The grinder has a possibility of removing the side part of the guard. To do this, slide out the section of the cover to be removed
so that all the retaining tabs come off . This allows for more accurate grinding of areas with diffi cult access, such as the fl oor
against the wall. Removal and mounting of the guard part may only be carried out with the disc and tool completely stopped and
disconnected from the power supply. In order to reassemble a section of the cover, all locking clips must be inserted into the holes
located in the cover.
Warning! The guard should always be complete during normal surface grinding. A section of the guard can only be removed when
grinding areas that cannot be ground with the complete guard.
OPERATION OF THE GRINDER STAND
CAUTION! When mounting and adjusting the components, pull out the power cord plug to disconnect the tool from the power
supply.
Stand mounting
Mount the base with castors to the tool holder using M8x20 mm bolts and washers as shown in fi gure (X). In the next step, mount
the fi rst part of the stand column to the tool holder using M6x16 mm bolts and M6 washers and nuts as shown in fi gure (XI). Then
slide the second part of the stand column into the fi rst. Lock the extendable part of the stand column with the adjustment lock knob
(XII). The work handle must be fi tted to the end of the stand column extension. To do this, use the work handle mount, M6x16 mm
bolts and M6 nuts as shown in fi gure (XIV).
Mounting the grinder to the stand
CAUTION! The auxiliary handle must be removed before the tool can be fi tted to the chuck.
As a fi rst step, place the tool in the holder so that the power cable is above the stand base (XV). Secure the tool to the chuck with
M8x16 mm screws by screwing them into the side holes of the grinder face and the top hole of the grinder face (XVI). Ensure that
the tool is fi xed fi rmly and securely in the chuck.
Stand height adjustment
The height of the stand column should be adjusted so that it is possible to work comfortably in a standing position. To adjust the
height of the stand, loosen the adjustment lock knob and then pull it back so that the height can be adjusted between the move-
ment stops (XIII). When the knob is released, the position of the stand column extension should lock into the movement stop.
Tighten the lock knob to prevent accidental change of position during operation.
Work handle angle adjustment
To adjust the angle of the work handle, loosen the handle mounting screws until the handle position can be changed. Adjust the
desired angle of the handle and then tighten the fi xing screws. Ensure that the handle is fi rmly and securely attached and does
not change its position during operation.
The height and angle of the handle should be matched to the height of the grinder operator. When guiding a grinder mounted to
a chuck, the operator should be in an upright position and hands bent at the elbows. If you experience symptoms such as back
and/or limb pain, numbness while working with a stand-mounted grinder, you should change the position of the handle to make
the work more ergonomic.
Power supply panel
The grinder stand is equipped with a power supply panel that allows it to be switched off from the working position, as well as the
connection of an extension cord to make work easier when grinding larger areas.
TOOL OPERATION
CAUTION! All the assembly steps described above must be carried out before beginning operation.
Connecting to the power supply
When preparing for operation and during operation, pay attention to the power cord. Protect the power cord from water, moisture,
oils, heat sources and sharp objects. Lay the cord so that it does not come within the reach of the tool's disc. Cutting the cord
