may result in electric shock and serious injury or death. Make sure that you do not become entangled in the cord. This can lead
to a fall and serious injury.
Do not overload the power cord, and do not cause any of the cord's section to become tensioned. Do not pull the tool by the cord
when moving. Always disconnect the power cord plug from the socket by pulling by the plug and socket housing, never pull by
the cord.
The power panel on the stand column was only fi tted with a short power cable and extension cables are required. The power
supply cord should have a single socket matching the tool's plug. It is forbidden to modify the plug or socket to make them fi t. The
electrical parameters of the power supply cord should correspond to the electrical parameters of the tool, listed on the rating plate.
It should be noted that the power cord's cross-section depends on the length of the cord. Follow the instructions below regarding
the power cord cross-section:
- 1.0 mm
2
– cord length not greater than 40 m;
- 1.5 mm
– cord length not greater than 60 m;
2
- 2.5 mm
– cord length not greater than 100 m.

Speed control knob
The grinder is fi tted with a rotary knob (VII), which allows for the adjustment of the motor speed, which translates into disc rotation
speed. The higher the number visible on the knob, the higher the rotational speed.
Starting the grinder (manual operation)
CAUTION! Do not start the grinder while leaning the work head against any surface with the grinding sheet being in contact with
any object. This may lead to loss of control of the tool and cause serious injury.
1. Check that the switch is in the "off " position - it is not pushed in. Press the switch with your fi nger, release the pressure and
check if the switch has returned to its initial position.
2. Insert the plug of the tool's power cord into a mains socket.
3. Connect the grinder to an external dust extraction system. Start the dust extraction system.
4. Grip the grinder with both hands - one hand on the main handle and the other on the additional handle.
5. Make sure that the grinding disc does not come into contact with any object.
6. Press and hold the switch. The grinding disc will begin to rotate. Allow the nominal disc rotation speed to be reached. Hold the
grinder in this position for approximately 30 seconds. Should any signs of malfunction be noticed, such as increased vibration or
excessive noise, turn the grinder off immediately releasing the pressure on the switch, unplug the power cord from the socket, and
search for the cause of the malfunction. It is forbidden to resume operation without rectifying the fault.
7. If there are no signs of malfunction, adjust the rotary speed and proceed.
8. The grinder switch is equipped with a lock which allows it to remain in the "on" on position without the need for continuous
pressing. This makes extended work easier. The switch can only be locked when the switch is pressed. Slide the lock button (IX)
and release the pressure on the switch. The switch will remain pressed.
Unlocking the switch is done by pressing the switch (IX), the lock button will automatically return to the initial position, and after
releasing the pressure the switch will automatically change the position to "off ".
The switch has a safety device to prevent unintentional start-up in the event of a power failure. If the power supply is lost during
operation, the tool with the switch pressed (manually or by means of a lock) will not start automatically after the power supply
returns. In this case, release the pressure on the switch so that it returns to the "off " position and then restart the tool according
to the procedure described above.
CAUTION! After the tool has been switched off , the grinding disc may still rotate for some time. Wait until the disc has stopped
revolving completely before putting the grinder down. It is forbidden to stop the disc by applying it to the workpiece surface, or to
slow it down in any other way than by allowing it come to a standstill on its own.
Starting the grinder (mounted on the stand)
CAUTION! Do not start the grinder while leaning the work head against any surface with the grinding sheet being in contact with
any object. This may lead to loss of control of the tool and cause serious injury.
1. Ensure that the power switch located on the power panel in the stand column is in the off - O position.
2. Plug the plug of the power panel cable into the extension socket.
3. Plug the extension cord plug into a mains socket.
4. Check that the switch is in the "off " position - it is not pushed in.
5. Plug the power cord of the grinder into the socket on the power panel (XVII).
6. Connect the grinder to an external dust extraction system. Start the dust extraction system.
7. Turn the switch located on the power panel to the on - I (XVIII) position.
8. Press and hold down the grinder switch. The grinding disc will begin to rotate. Allow the nominal disc rotation speed to be
reached. Hold the grinder in this position for approximately 30 seconds. Should any signs of malfunction be noticed, such as
