SYNCHRO EDIT
Operation (when recording on this VCR)
Before you start editing
On the playback_VCR
e Switch on the EDIT mode if available.
¢ Turn off on-screen displays.
¢ When recording from a stereo source tape, set the playback VCR to
output stereo sound.

insert a source tape with its safety tab
slid out to show the red portion into
the other (playback) VCR. Search for
the point where you want to start
playback for editing.

—simsert a blank tape into this (recording)
VCR and search for the point you want
to start recording.

Press EDIT-STANDBY on this VCR.
This (recording) VCR enters recording pause
and the other (playback) VCR enters playback
pause.

Press SYNCHRO EDIT to start editing.
5
To finish editing, press EDIT-STANDBY.
Both VCRs stop.
