Step 2: Setting up the
remote commander
Notes
e With normal use, the
batteries should last for
approximately three to six
months.
e If you do not use the remote
commander for an extended
period of time, remove the
batteries to avoid possible
damage from battery
leakage.
e Do not use a new battery
with an old one.
¢ Do not use different types of
batteries.
Tips
* To control this VCR with
any other Sony remote
commanders, set the
COMMAND MODE
selector on this VCR and any
remote commander to be
used to the same position.
If you set the COMMAND
MODE selector on the VCR
to "OFF," you can no longer
control this VCR from any,
other Sony remote
commanders.
Inserting the batteries
Insert two size AA (R6) batteries (supplied) matching the + and — on the
batteries to the diagram inside the battery compartment.
Using the remote commander
Set the COMMAND MODE selector on the VCR to "2".
You can use this remote commander to operate this VCR and a Sony
TV. Buttons on the TV section of the remote commander can be used to
operate your TV.
