Type 1A/41 and 27A/42 Wheel

Always use Type A (1A/41)
cutting wheel guard for cut-
ting.
Using the Type A (1A/41) Cutting Wheel Guard
10, it is possible to perform limited cutting on
small stock such as metal tubes, piping or re-
bar .
1 . Disconnect tool from power source .
2 . Be sure that the Type A (1A/41) Cutting
Wheel Guard 10 is in place for cutting .
3 . Place Backing Flange 5 and Type 1A/41 or
Type 27A/42 cutting wheel on the Spindle
4 . Make sure the Backing Flange 5 locks into
the base of the Spindle 4 .
4 . Thread on the Lock Nut 11 and tighten the
Lock Nut 11 using the lock nut wrench,
while holding the Spindle Lock 7 .
TO REMOVE: Reverse the procedure .
Type 1 Abrasive Straight
Grinding Wheels
Do not use Type 1 abrasive
wheels
straight/die grinding. This tool is not designed
for use with Type 1 abrasive straight/die grind-
ing wheels .
