(corresponding to Table 206 in lEC 60601-l-2/AMDl:2020 PRV)
Recommended isolation distance between portable and mobile RF communication
equipment and the product or system
The product is expected to be used in an electromagnetic environment where radiated
RF disturbances are controlled. According to the maximum output function of the
communication device, the purchaser or user of the product can prevent electromagnetic
interference by maintaining the minimum distance between the portable and mobile RF
communication device (transmitter) and the product as recommended below.

For the maximum rated output rate of the transmitter not listed in the above table, the
recommended isolation distance d, in meters (m), can be determined by the formula in the
corresponding transmitter frequency column, where P is provided by the transmitter manu-
facturer. The maximum rated output power of the transmitter; in watts (W).
Note 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz frequency points, the formula for the higher frequency
range should be used.
Note 2: These guidelines may not be suitable for all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is
affected by absorption and reflection from buildings, objects, and humans.
