Do not use the device if the cable, plug or any other part of the

device is damaged.
In the event of damage/interference, disconnect the device from

the mains immediately.
Connect the device only to a plug socket whose mains voltage
■
corresponds to the data on the rating plate of the device. The
plug socket must still be accessible after the connection has
been made.
Never carry or pull the device by the power cable; always treat
■
the power cable with care. Avoid pinching the cable in doors
or pulling it over sharp edges or corners. Keep the cable away
from hot surfaces.
The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the
■
mains plug.
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket in the event of
■
thunderstorms.
Always pull the plug, never the cable, to remove the mains plug
■
from the plug socket.
Do not use any extension cables.
■
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids to avoid the
■
risk of electric shock.
Keep the mains cable and the mains plug away from water or
■
other liquids in order to avoid electric shocks. Never touch the
mains plug, the mains cable or the device with wet or damp
hands. Do not operate it outdoors or in rooms with high humid-
ity.
Store the device only in dry indoor rooms.

Care During Operation
In the interest of your own safety, inspect the device for damage
■
each time before you use it. If there are any defects, the device
must no longer be used until it has been repaired by a specialist.
If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special-
ist workshop to prevent any hazards.
Use the device only when it is completely assembled and the
■
mains cable is completely unwound.
