Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of
the device in accordance with local regulations.
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal.
14. Troubleshooting Guide
The device does not switch on when the ON/OFF button
is pressed.
(1) Ensure battery pack is fully charged.
(2) Charge battery pack, if applicable.
(3) Contact Customer Service.
Electrodes do not adhere to the body.
(1) Clean the adhesive surface of the gel pads using a damp,
lint-free cloth. Replace the gel pads if they still do not
adhere securely.
(2) Clean the skin prior to any application; do not use skincare
lotions or oils prior to treatment. Shaving may increase the
life of gel pads.
There is no noticeable stimulation.
(1) Press the ON/OFF Button to interrupt the program.
Ensure the connection cables is correctly connected to the
device. Ensure the electrodes are in firm contact with the
treatment area.
(2) Press the ON/OFF Button to restart the program.
(3) Check electrode positions and ensure that adhesive
electrodes do not overlap.
(4) Gradually increase the impulse intensity.
(5) The battery pack is almost discharged. Recharge the
battery pack.
The low battery indicator displays.
Recharge battery pack.
You have an unpleasant sensation at the electrodes.
(1) The electrodes are not positioned correctly. Check their
positions and re-position, if necessary.
(2) The gel pads are worn. This may cause irritated skin as
even distribution of the current across the entire area is no
longer guaranteed. For this reason, replace the gel pads.
Skin in the treatment area turns red.
Immediately stop treatment and wait until your skin has
returned to its normal condition. If the redness is under the
electrode and disappears quickly, there is no risk, as this is
caused by the locally stimulated, increased blood flow.
Consult your doctor, however, before you continue treatment
if the skin irritation persists and is accompanied by an itchy
sensation or inflammation since this may be caused by an
allergic reaction to the adhesive surface.
The device is getting too hot. How to proceed?
Switch to the lower heat level or switch the heat function off
entirely.
