PROBLEM: ERROR MESSAGE "ER1"
Possible cause
Faulty temperature
sensor
PROBLEM: ERROR MESSAGE "ER2"
Temperature
regulator
Faulty operating
element
PROBLEM: ERROR MESSAGE "LER"
Inside temperature
too low
PROBLEM: ERROR MESSAGE "HER"
Inside temperature
too high
Solution
Ensure that the temperature sensor is plugged in. Check the connection
between the temperature sensor and the operating element.
Check if a temperature has already been set when switching on. Switch
back on without a preset temperature.
Switch FLINT to OFF in order to reset the regulator. After 3 seconds, switch the
grill to "COOL DOWN" without setting a temperature.
The inside temperature has been below 65 °C for 20 minutes.
•
Remove excess ash from the combustion chamber.
•
Make sure there are enough pellets in the pellet chamber. If the fill level
is low, a funnel can occur that interrupts the supply.
•
Remove all of the pellets from the pellet chamber and refill. The smoker
performance can be negatively impacted if the pellets are too moist or
there are not enough pellets.
•
Check if the drive motor is faulty or if the feed screw is blocked (see
PROBLEM: PELLETS DO NOT REACH THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER).
Pellets that are too long may block the supply.
•
Check if the fuel rod works.
•
Use a second thermometer to check if the temperature sensor is faulty.
The inside temperature is more than 287 °C.
•
Check if external factors are contributing to the overheating (see
PROBLEM: THE DISPLAYED GRILLING TEMPERATURE IS HIGHER THAN
EXPECTED).
•
Switch the grill off (OFF) and back on (ON). Open the lid and turn
the temperature regulator to "START". Wait 5 minutes and select the
desired temperature.
•
Use a second thermometer to check if the temperature sensor is faulty.
