3.3 Functional description
In combination with the installations sets
"Unibox" for room temperature control and/or
return temperature control, the "Unibox RLA
vario" serves the isolation of surface heating

Hydronic balancing can be carried out with the
help of the integrated valve stem (see chart in
the appendix).
The installation position of the "Unibox RLA
vario" depends on the used "Unibox" (see
section 6 on page 20). The "Unibox RLA
vario" can be installed in either the supply or
the return pipe.

3.4 Operating elements

The valve can be isolated with the help of the
integrated valve stem. Proceed as follows:
1. Unscrew the cap of the valve with isolation
(see Illust. 2 on page 19 (3) or Illust. 4 on
page 19 (1)).
2. Turn the valve stem clockwise to isolate the
valve. Use a 6 mm Allen key.
