WARRANTY
The Umano Medical foam mattress oneNEST S is designed for a 10-year service life under normal use and
conditions.
The Umano Medical covers for the oneNEST S mattress are designed for a 3-year service life under normal use
and conditions.
Umano Medical warrants the foam mattress for a period of seven (7) years from the original date of purchase.
Umano Medical warrants the mattress covers for a period of three (3) years from the original date of purchase.
Shipment receipt
The purchaser should examine the shipment upon receipt. Umano Medical must be notified by the purchaser
within 30 days of invoice of any short shipment, or any order-mistake.
Apparent shipment damage must be noted on delivery receipt and notified immediately to Umano Medical. A
claim in the amount of replacement cost will be initiated with the carrier for the damages incurred. If any damage
is found, the purchaser must notify Umano Medical within 15 days of shipment receipt.
Product return
Merchandise cannot be returned without approval from Umano Medical. An authorization number will be provided
which must be printed on the packaging of the returned merchandise. Modified or discontinued products are not
subject to return.
Limited warranty
Umano Medical warrants to the original purchaser that the product is free of defects in material and workmanship.
This warranty is limited in scope and time, as set forth in the purchase documentation (the "Documentation")
related to the product received by the purchaser. In the event of an alleged defect, the purchaser is directed to
promptly notify Umano Medical in writing, describing the issue with the product.
If after review and investigation, it is determined by Umano Medical that the product is defective, and the
pruchaser has filed the warranty claim within the prescribed time period indicated in the Documentation, then
Umano Medical will either replace the product, have the product repaired (parts and labour) or provide service
parts for the repair of the product, depending on what is provided in the Documentation (conditions and scope of
warranty).
No claims, with respect to a product, shall be considered or allowed by Umano Medical in the following situations,
which either void or are excluded from any warranty coverage:
• Any repair of a product by the purchaser or a third party, using non-authorized or non-original parts.
• Any unauthorized product alteration or modification by the purchaser or a third party.
• Any normal product wear and tear including, but not limited to, loss of resiliency, normal discoloration, or
body impression on mattress. A normal compression of the mattress will be observed by the purchaser
over time. If, however, a compression of more than 18 mm, as measured by an authorized Umano Medical
representative, is detected, warranty coverage will be provided. Any normal indention of less than 18 mm
will not be covered.
