Disinfection
Mattresses should be disinfected between patient uses. The mattresses are designed to be disinfected with
standard commercial solutions.
Procedure:
1. Ensure to wash your hands before starting the procedure.
2. Prepare the cleaning solution in a bucket or spray bottle according to the manufacturer's instruction of the
cleaning product used for the procedure.
3. Refer to the table below for recommended active concentrations of tested ingredients.
4. Spray the surface with the diluted solution previously prepared.
5. Use a clean cloth to wipe the solution. Then rince the surface with water and a soft clean cloth. Ensure to
remove any chemical residue from the surface.
6. Ensure the mattress is completely dry before returning in service.
