2-year warranty

Warranty commitment
We undertake to repair this appliance free of charge provided it has been handled
properly and the failure has occured within the warranty period. We repair all defects
caused by material or manufacturing faults. The warranty will be undertaken by
means of the repair or replacement of defective parts at our discretion. The warranty
does not cover damage due to the natural wear and tear of parts and damage and
defects resulting from incorrect use, handling or maintenance (particularly calcifica-
tion and commercial use). A claim is only valid under warranty if the warranty card
showing the date of purchase, dealer's stamp and signature or the purchase receipt
is sent together with the appliance to the relevant service centre (see address below).
Returns are to be made in the original package. The purchaser shall bear the transport
costs. Please do not forget to state your address and, should the error not be obvious,
include an explanation with your return.
5-year warrant

We grant a 5-year durability guarantee for the high-pressure boiler.

The guarantee is valid without prejudice to the statutory warranty rights and applies
exclusively to the boiler and the high-pressure boiler. The warranty period com-
mences on either the date of the purchase contract or contract for the delivery of the
ROTEL PROFESSIONAL, and is valid for five years. In the case of a guarantee claim, the
purchaser shall be obligated to immediately inform the guarantor in writing oft he
defect, that is to say, without any culpable delay. In the event of a claim, the pur-
chaser is obliged to inform the guarantor of the defects in writing immediately, i.e.
without undue delay. In the case of a claim covered by the warranty, the pruchases
is entitled to the rectification of this/these defect(s). To assert the claim under the
terms of the warranty, the purchaser must return the steam iron together with the
warranty card and proof of purchase (sales receipt or purchase contract) to the re-
spective Rotel customer service centre. The purchaser may not claim compensation
for loss of earnings from the seller for the duration of the repair. The purchaser shall
bear the transport costs. The warranty card must indicate the date of purchase and
a dealer's stamp. Otherwise the claim cannot be accepted under the tems of the war-
ranty. Self-inflicted defects or damages are excluded from the warranty. The war-
ranty expressly excludes damages incurred due to incorrect use or operation, calcifi-
cation of the boiler, excessive fluctuations in the supply voltage incorrect installation
or incorrect connection of the appliance, insufficient or improper maintenance, in as
far as the instruction manual contains a maintenance plan, and any intervention on
the appliance, which was not carried out by the Rotel service staff.
