o To clean the appliance, first unplug the connecting
cable from the socket and then wait until all parts
have cooled down. Always clean the appliance with
a soft and slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents
as these damage the plastic parts.
o The steam generator must be cleaned at least
every three months to remove any limescale resi-
dues that could affect the correct operation of the
appliance.
o Do not pour vinegar or other perfumed substances
into the boiler. This will invalidate the warranty.
o Do not wrap the connection cable around the sole-
plate while the iron is still hot.
o Do not place the soleplate on metal surfaces.
o Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather
(rain, sun, etc.).
o Note: when the iron is switched on for the first
time, there may be a slight formation of smoke and
water droplets. This is normal and will stop after
around 2 fillings.
