THE PROTOTYPE
The Mogul locomotive is an Ame-
rican classic. During the late
1800s and early 1900s, more
than 10,000 of these versatile
locos were built for freight and
passenger service throughout
North America.
The term "Mogul" refers to the
"2-6-0" wheel configuration of
these locos: two small guide
wheels followed by six big driving
wheels and no trailing wheels.

OPERATION
Preparation
Attach the engine to the tender:
- Plug the wiring cable (Fig. 1b)
from the engine into the socket
on the tender.
- Slip the coupling hook on the
engine over the loop on the ten-
der.
Attention! The wiring cable can
be damaged by rough handling.
Remove the cable gently from the
socket. If the model operates
erratically or improperly, check
the cable.
Attention! This "digital" engine
should only be used with the
included tender. The tender is
electronically compatible with the
engine. Other tenders may dama-
ge the engine electronics.
Operating Modes
This model has a three-way
power control switch mounted
inside the cab (Fig. 1a, 2):
Position 0: All power off
Position 1: Power to lights and
smoke generator
Position 2: Power to lights, smoke
generator and motors
(factory pre-set)
Multi-Train System
25192 and 26192: This model
has a "D" gearbox and decoder
interfaces, one in the loco and
one in the tender. It can be equip-
ped with two LGB Multi-Train
System Decoders (55020) using
Decoder
Interface
(55026).
When all decoders are installed,
the Train Mouse loco function but-
ton will control multiple functions,
depending on the number of
times the button is pushed. Push
the button in intervals of 0.6 to 1.0
second.
Press 1x: Whistle
Press 2x: Bell
Press 3x: Smoke generator on/off
Press 4x: Sound on/off
Press 5x: Firebox on/off
