5.4- Placing the log on the splitter
Prepare the wood to be split by pre-cutting it to the maximum cutting capacity of the splitter and make
sure that the wood is cut straight.
Put the wood on the splitter table (1) so as not to endanger you (e.g. tripping hazard).
a) Place the log (b) vertically and sitting flat onto the support table (1). Be sure the wedge and support
table will contact the log squarely on both ends. Never attempt to split a log at an angle. Never split
horizontally or crosswise.
b) Lower the wedge to a distance (c) 5cm~10cm (min/max) above the log (b).
c) Secure log with the holding devices.

5.5- Starting the log splitter
Open the protective cap (C).
Switch ON (I): Press the green button (B).
Switch Off (O): Press the red button (A).
When the protective cap (C) is closed, press the emergency stop button (D) in the event of an
emergency.
