15. ATTACHMENTS ON REQUEST
15.1
BATTERIES
Different capacity batteries are available to suit
specific operating requirements (Fig.25). The
list of approved batteries for this machine can
be found in the "Technical Data" table.
15.2
BATTERY CHARGER
Device used to recharge the battery (Fig.26).
Battery is not inserted correctly.
Low battery.
The thermal protection has tripped
due to overheating of the motor.
Cutting means blocked.
Machine fault
The cutting means is not in good state.
Cutting means fittings are loose or
the cutting means is damaged.
Severe working conditions requiring
greater current absorption.
Battery is insufficient for
operating requirements.
Battery is not correctly inserted
in the battery charger.
Unsuitable environmental conditions.
Dirty contacts.
The battery charger is not energised.
Faulty battery charger.
Open the hatch and check that the battery
is fitted in its housing correctly (par. 7.2.3).
Check the battery status and recharge
if necessary (par. 7.2.2).
Wait for at least 5 minutes and
restart the machine.
Turn the machine off, remove the safety key
and wear work gloves.
Check and eventually remove any obstructions
in the machine lower side (par. 7.3.2) that
prevent rotation of the cutting means.
If the problem continues, contact the
Authorised Service Centre for checks,
replacements or repairs (par. 8.1).
Remove the safety key and contact
the Authorised Service Centre for
checks, replacements or repairs.
Contact the Authorised Service
Centre for the sharpening or
replacement of the cutting means.
Immediately turn off the motor
and remove the safety key.
Contact the Authorised Service Centre for
checks, replacements or repairs (par. 8.1).
Optimise operations (par. 7.2.1).
Use a second battery or extended
battery (par. 15.1).
Check it is correctly inserted (par. 7.2.3).
Recharge the battery in places with
suitable temperatures (see battery/
battery charger instruction manual).
Clean the contacts.
Check it is plugged in and the
power socket is energised.
Replace with an original spare part.
If the problem persists, refer to the
battery/battery charger manual.
