• Warning. This product contains a coin battery
(button cell with lithium). If swallowed, a coin
battery can cause internal chemical burn
injuries.
• Warning. Dispose of used batteries imme-
diately. Keep new and used batteries out
of the reach of children. Seek medical help
immediately if you suspect that batteries have
been swallowed or ingested.
Danger!
• Handle damaged or leaking batteries with ex-
treme caution and dispose of them properly as
soon as possible. Wear gloves when doing so.
• If you come into contact with battery acid,
wash the affected area with soap and water. If
battery acid gets in your eye, rinse it with water
and seek medical attention immediately!
• The connection terminals must not be short-cir-
cuited.
Inserting/replacing batteries
(Fig. B)
WARNING! Comply with the following
instructions in order to prevent
mechanical and electrical damage.
Remove the protective foil (3a/7a) from the
product before first use.
For inserting and replacing the batteries (8)
proceed as shown in Fig. B.
Note: You will need a suitable screwdriver (not
contained in delivery).
Note: Pay attention to the plus/minus polarity
of the batteries and their correct installation.
The batteries must be located entirely inside the
battery compartment.
Assembly
Assemble the till (1–6) as shown in Fig. C.

Calculator
• Press the button (3b) to use the calculator.
Note: do not replace the internal battery.
Drawer
• Press the button (1a) to open the drawer (1b).
Scanner
• Remove the protective foil on the battery
compartment cover before using the scanner
for the first time.
• Press the button (7b) for a short time to acti-
vate the LED and hold it pressed down to also
play a tone.
Card reader
1. Open the cover (5a) of the card reader and
insert the receipts.
2. Insert the credit card into the opening (5b) of
the card reader to push a receipt out.
Conveyor belt
• Slide the grocery divider (4a) to move the
conveyor belt.
Storage, cleaning
When not in use, always store the product dry,
clean, without batteries and at room tempera-
ture.
Wipe clean with a dry cloth only.
IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with
harsh cleaning agents.
Disposal
The accompanying symbol indicates that
this device complies with Directive
2012/19/EU. This directive indicates
that you may not dispose of this device
along with basic household waste at the end of
its useful life and instead must hand it in to
specifically designated collection sites, valuable
substance collection stations, or waste disposal
facilities.
Look after the environment and dispose of waste
properly.
Batteries may not be disposed of with household
waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and
are subject to hazardous waste treatment. The
chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as fol-
lows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
Dispose of used batteries at a municipal collec-
tion site.
