COMPUTER INSTRUCTIONS
The computer of your ERGOMETER is very user-friendly. By displaying
all functions at the same time, there is no need to switch back and
forth between the individual functions and you are always informed
about your training process at a glance. This device is a speed-indepen-
dent device. In order to achieve the performance you want, the com-
puter regulates the brakes independently of the cadence in the watt
program (P16).
Switch on:
1) Connect the power adapter to the product and a properly connected
power outlet. A beep sounds and all LCD display segments appear for 2
seconds and are set to 00. (except ODO display)
or
2) The adapter is already in connected and the device has switched off
automatically. By pressing any key - or at least one pedal turn the com-
puter switches on automatically.
Turn off:
As soon as the device is not operated for longer than approx. 4 minu-
tes, the computer switches off automatically. After training, pull out
the adapter from wall power.
KEYS
„START/STOP" : Starts or training stops the training in the selected pro-
gram. The computer does not start counting until the „START/STOP"
button has been pressed. If the „START/STOP" button is pressed for
longer than 3 seconds, all values are reset to 00:00 in the starting posi-
tion. (except ODO display)
„F" : Chooses or enters the functions from PROGRAMS, TIME, DISTAN-
CE, WATT, CAL, TARGET HEART RATE, AGE, and 10 columns. The chosen
function shall flash. Please note that not all the functions can be selec-
ted in every program according to the types of each program. During
exercise, press the F-key to display the functions RPM, watts and calo-
ries or speed, time and distance permanently or alternately.
UP(+): Selects or increases the values of PROGRAMS, TIME, DISTANCE,
WATT, CAL., TARGET HEART RATE, AGE, and 10 columns.
DOWN(-): Selects or decreases the values of PROGRAMS, TIME, DIS-
TANCE, WATT, CAL., TARGET HEART RATE, AGE, and 10 columns.
RECOVERY(TEST): Starts the function of PULSE RECOVERY.
ANZEIGEN
PROGRAM:
Indicates the programs selected from PROGRAM 1 to PROGRAM 21
LEVEL:
Indicates the level of loading selected from LEVEL 1 to LEVEL 24.
TIME/ WATT :
Indicates Time or Watt alternately or permanently by pressing the
F-key. The time shows minutes and seconds. If preset, time counts
downwards. Minimum preset 5Min. Range 5-99 Min. The actually
power display show in Watt. Preset range 10-300 Watt only in Watt
program P16.
RPM/SPEED/KMH:
Indicates RPM or Speed alternately or permanently by pressing the
F-key. The RPM display shows the cycle turnings per minute. The speed
display show kilometers per hour.
DIST/CAL:
Display for distance and calories burned. The Distance can be entered
from 1 - 999 km. The computer uses the power in watts to calculate the
calories, which are displayed in kcal. To convert energy „joules" into the
commonly used „calories", use the following formula: 1joule = 0.239
cal, or 1cal = 4.186J. The calorie consumption can be entered from 10
- 990 kcal. The up/down count is in 0.1 increments. Display of distance
and approx. calories in automatic alternation or permanently by pres-
sing the F key.
KM Total (ODO):
The distance in km of all training units is displayed. It is not possible to
specify. The ODO display can be reset to zero at any time. To do this,
press the F-key and the Start / Stop-key at once for 2 seconds.
PULSE :
The currently measured heart rate is displayed. If an upper pulse limit
is specified, the display flashes when the specified value is reached and
a signal tone sounds.
TARGET H.R.:
Available in programs 17-20.
In programs 17-19: Training program at 55% / 75% or 95% of your ma-
ximum heart rate. As soon as you enter your age, the computer calcula-
tes a warning pulse value (formula: (220 – age) x 0.80). When the value
is reached, the pulse display starts to flash - you should then reduce the
speed until the load level has been adjusted automatically.
Setting range age: 10-99.
In program 20: Display of the individual target pulse
Setting range: 60-240
Resistance profile:
The desired training duration can be preset in the TIME area. This pre-
set time is divided into 10 sub-intervals by the system. Each bar on the
time axis (horizontal) = 1/10 of the specified time, e.g. E.g.: training
time = 5 min = each bar is 30 seconds, training time = 10 min = each bar
= 1 min. Each of the 10 bars corresponds to such a time interval. The
current time bar is indicated by BLINKING. If no time is given, each time
bar is preset to 3 minutes of training, i. H. after 3 minutes the flashing
display jumps from bar 1 to bar 2 etc. up to a total of 30 minutes. If the
program is stopped in the meantime with the „Start/Stop" button, the
time remains stopped for up to 4 minutes. To count from there after
you press the start/stop button again.
Resistance:
You can use the + / - button to adjust the resistance at any time - in
all programs except for the P16 watt program. You can see the change
in the height of the bar and in the LEVEL display - the higher the bar,
the higher the resistance. Each bar segment represents 3 levels (e.g.
3 segments represent levels 7, 8 + 9 or 7 segments represent levels
19, 20 + 21). The selected value is shown by the LEVEL display. The
change affects the current and following time position. The height of
the bars indicates the loading, not a terrain profile. Program sequences
are shown graphically on the display. The sequence of the individual
programs takes place according to the representation of the bar graph
in the display field, e.g. program 5 = mountain / program 2 = valley
etc. (the height of the bar = resistance, the time is distributed over the
width of the bar)
• After setting the program, be sure to press the „START/STOP" button
if you want to start training. Please note: all determined and displayed
values are not suitable for medical evaluations.
