Risk of injury/material damage due to the unit falling down!
The unit can slip off the pallet during transportation or fall when lifting from the pallet and crush or bump into per-
sons.
> Wear protective footwear.
> Move unit with at least 2 persons and suitable transport/lifting equipment.
> Secure load against slipping.
9.1.1 Open/close unit door
If the unit door is opened, the door contact switch automatically switches the unit off.
Open unit door
1. Open the upper unit door snap-in hooks.
2. Lift out the upper unit door.
3. Loosen the knurled screws.
4. Lift out the lower unit door.
Close unit door
5. Insert lower unit door.
6. Tighten the knurled screws.
7. Insert upper unit door.
The unit door must touch the door contact switch so that the supply voltage for the ventilation unit is not
disconnected.
8. Close the upper unit door snap-in hooks.
9.2
Filter maintenance and replacement
9.2.1 Filter maintenance
The filters must be checked as needed or at least every 6 months for contamination and dirt (visual inspection) and, if
necessary, replaced, see chapter 9.2.2 „Filter replacement", page 28.
The maximum service life of the filters is 1 year. The filters must then be replaced.
9.2.2 Filter replacement
The need to change the filters is displayed:
– via the easyControls 3.0 software by the symbol
– via the control element KWL-BE Touch by the symbol
– via the control element KWL-BE Eco by LED lighting up.
The arrangement of the air filters can be found on the unit label. When installing the filter, the air direction according to
the unit label must be observed, which is indicated by arrows on the filters.
Proceed as follows to replace the filters:
– Extract air filter/Supply filter
Filter position see corresponding sticker in the unit.
1. Open upper unit door (see chapter 9.1.1 on page 28 ff).
2. Pull extract air filter/supply filter to the front and replace.
3. Close upper unit door (see chapter 9.1.1 on page 28ff).
4. Confirm the filter replacement:
– enter the filter replacement date and confirm via the easyControls 3.0 software in the menu "Homepage"> "Filter
replacement".

via the control element KWL-BE Touch.
– the filter replacement can be confirmed via the slide switch control element KWL-BE Eco. For this purpose, switch
through all operating stages 4x within one second (up–down–up–down.
The unit is equipped as standard with filters.

The filters are available as accessories:
Filterset 2 x Coarse 75% (G4) and 1 x ePM 50% (F7)

Heat exchanger maintenance and cleaning

> The unit may only be opened by a trained person or an authorised electrician.

> Before working on the unit, wait until the fans are turned off.
