Description of the inverter
SolBrid inverters are used to provide the power generated by PV modules for own consumption in the home,
to charge a connected battery or for standard-compliant, three-phase feed-in to the public power grid. The
energy stored in the battery is also provided to consumers in the home in a standard-compliant manner.
Depending on the model, SolBrid inverters have two or four MPP trackers and an additional battery connection.
SolBrid inverters can use the AC power generated by other inverters to charge the battery.
The SolBrid inverters are able to offer an emergency power function using the optional hy-switch or Grid
Switch accessories. If the power grid fails, the SolBrid inverter can therefore continue supplying power circuits
from the PV and battery.
The inverter may heat up during operation. This is a normal operating characteristic. A fan disperses the
waste heat inside the closed case evenly onto the case surface. Cooling fins allow the heat to dissipate to the
surrounding.
