Safety instructions
The inverter meets international safety requirements, whose compliance has been demonstrated through
accredited test laboratories. Nevertheless, as with all electrical devices, there are residual risks.
Read these instructions carefully and observe the safety instructions in all work on the inverter.
DANGER
There is the risk of death due electrocution and electric voltage
In the event of sun exposure, the PV generators and lines, along with the DC cables connected
to the battery, may be live. There is the risk of death due electrocution and electric discharge.
f Disconnect the DC and AC connections from the power source prior to any work on the
inverter and secure against being switched on again.
f Do not establish or disconnect any DC connections during ongoing operation.
f Only connect SELV circuits to the RJ45 and COM socket.
f Follow the safety instructions of the battery manufacturer.
f Only have specialists carry out any installation work.
f Do not commission the inverter before a shut-down control or overcurrent protective
device has been installed.
f Only have trained qualified personnel carry out commissioning.
f Always carry out the measures described in this document in the specified sequence.
f Maintain access to the shut-down control free at all times.
f If one of the following components is damaged, immediately take the inverter out of oper-
ation and disconnect it from the grid and the PV generators:
– Inverter (not functioning, visible damage, smoke, penetration of liquid etc.)
– Cables
– PV generators
Do not recommission the inverter until the damaged components have been replaced
by a specialist.
DANGER
Risk of death by electrocution when connecting AC.
f Never disconnect nor connect the plug connection while the AC connection is live.
f Install the AC circuit breaker prior to any work on the AC connection.
