does not work.
Blanks between selections are less than 4 seconds
long.
Use a tape with blanks more than 4 seconds long.
Recording or playback
starts suddenly when
turning power on.
TIMER mode switch is set to the PLAY-REPEAT or
REC position.
System remote control
does not operate.
Control cord is not connected.
Set TIMER mode switch to OFF.
Connect control cord properly (see pages 9 and
10).
CD : DECK SYNCHRO
recording cannot be
carried out.
The CD - DECK SYNC
indicator is off during
CD - DECK SYNCHRO
recording.
Function display is not
turned on.
CD - DECK SYNCHRO control cord and Input/
Output cords are not connected.
The cassette tape accidental erasure prevention
tabs are broken.
Connect correctly (see pages 9 and 10).
Replace the cassette with one whose tabs are
intact (see page 7).
The tape ran out during the CD - DECK SYNCHRO
mode.
After the deck entered recording standby mode,
more than 1 minute elapsed before the CD player
resumed playback.
Replace the tape with a longer one.
Change the disc and press the CD SYNC button
again.
Display off mode is selected.
Press the DISPLAY OFF button to turn the function
display on.
