Checking the container level monitoring system
1. Set the control switch to the OFF position.
2. Open the 2 catches.
3. Lift the suction head off the waste material container, turn the suction head upside down and lay it aside.
Allow the filter element to dry.
4. Check cut-off contacts (wire sensors) (A) and (B) for dirt accretions and if necessary, brush the contacts clean with a soft brush.
5. Check the seal at the vacuum cleaner top section and clean it with a cloth if necessary.
6. Position the vacuum cleaner top section on top of the waste material container.
7. Close the two catches.
8. Check to ensure that the suction head is fitted correctly and secured.
Transport
Do not attempt to crane-lift the vacuum cleaner.
Store accessories and attachments in the holders intended for the purpose.
Empty the vacuum cleaner before the vacuum cleaner is to be carried to another location.
After using it to vacuum up liquids, do not tilt the vacuum cleaner and transport the vacuum cleaner in the upright position only.
Use the tapered adapter to connect both ends of the hose together conveniently for transport.
Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs, always observe the status indicator of the battery. See the section headed Status indicators of the Li­ion battery.
If the trouble you are experiencing is not listed in this table or you are unable to rectify the problem by yourself, contact Hilti Service.
Trouble or fault
The battery doesn't engage with an
audible click.
LEDs of the battery show nothing
Reduced suction performance.
LED shows, the vacuum cleaner
switches off automatically.
LED shows: The air speed in
the suction hose has dropped below
20 m/s.
Dust is blown out of the appliance.
Slight electric shocks are felt.
Disposal
WARNING
Risk of injury due to incorrect disposal! Health hazards due to escaping gases or liquids.
DO NOT send batteries through the mail!
Cover the terminals with a non-conductive material (such as electrical tape) to prevent short circuiting.
Dispose of your battery out of the reach of children.
Dispose of the battery at your Hilti Store, or consult your local governmental garbage disposal or public health and safety resources for
disposal instructions.

Possible cause
The retaining lug on the battery is dirty.
Battery faulty.
The waste material container is full.
The suction hose or nozzle is blocked.
The filter is clogged
The suction hose or nozzle is damaged.
The suction hose is not engaged.
The waste material container is full.
The dust bag is full.
The filter element is clogged with dirt or dust.
The suction hose or dust hood on the electric
tool is blocked.
The hose diameter setting is incorrect.
The filter element is not fitted correctly.
The filter element is damaged.
Electrostatic discharge.

Action to be taken
Clean the retaining lug and push the battery
in until it engages.
Contact Hilti Service.
Empty the waste material container.
Clean the suction hose and nozzle.
Bump-clean the filter.
Change the filter element.
Check that the filter is seated correctly.
Replace the suction hose or nozzle.
Connect/disconnect the suction hose.

Empty the waste material container.
Change the dust bag.
If the automatic filter cleaning system
is deactivated, activate it and allow the
vacuum cleaner to run for 30 seconds.
Clean the suction hose and the dust hood.
Set the hose diameter.
Correctly re-install the filter element.
Install a new filter element.
Increase the air humidity.
Operate the vacuum cleaner in ECO mode.
