 BEFORE STARTING THE APPLIANCE
Only plug the mains plug in after you have assembled the blades!
o
Place the knife blades (1) next to each other and push the metal pin of one of the
o
blades into the slot in the other blade.
Hold both blades from behind the finger guard (2) and insert them into the appliance
o
until you hear them click into place.
You can check to see if the blades are in properly by trying to pull them out (when
o
you do this we advise you to slide the protective cover supplied over the blades in
order to stop them moving out of place). The appliance is now ready for use.
Pushing the on/off button (4) starts the cutting action of the blades. To ensure the
o
appliance continues working, keep the button in this position.
Now you can slice through the food with the blades. You do not need to move the
o
knife back and forth because the blades are already doing this action for you.
When you have finished cutting, let go of the button (4) and the appliance will switch
o
off.
After use, unplug the appliance.
o
Now you can loosen the blades by pressing the release button (3) and pull them out
o
very carefully.
 NOTE
Do not cut any bones or frozen products.
o
Cut on a wooden chopping board.
o
 CLEANING AND CARE
You must always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
o
Never immerse the appliance in water.
o
Only wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Do not use any sharp and abrasive cleaning
o
agents.
The blades can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
