8.6.3 Privacy zone masking / data protection coverage
Privacy masking can only be activated and configured if a view mode containing a
fisheye view is selected.
This means that privacy masking is not available in the panorama/double
panorama module or in 4xPTZ mode.
You can use privacy zones to cover certain areas of the live view to prevent these areas from being recorded
or viewed in the live image. You can set up a maximum of 8 rectangular privacy zones in the video image.
Proceed as follows to set up a privacy zone. Tick the box
"Activate privacy zone". To add a privacy zone, select the "Area" button. You can now use the mouse to
mark an area in the camera image. You can then mark a further 7 areas. The "Delete all" button can be used
to delete all privacy zones that have been set up.
Accept the settings you have made by clicking "Save"
