Day/night switching
Day/night changeover
The day/night switchover offers the options Auto, Day and Night.
Car
The camera automatically switches between day and night mode depending on the prevailing light
conditions. The sensitivity can be set between 0-7.
Day
In this mode, the camera only outputs colour images.
Please note:
Only use this mode in constant lighting conditions.
Night
In this mode, the camera only outputs black and white images.
Please note:
Only use this mode in low light conditions.
Timetable
Sensitivity
Setting for the switching threshold for automatic day/night switching (0-7).
A low value means a lower illuminance for switching to night mode.
Delay time
Setting a delay time between recognising a necessary switchover and the action.
Smart IR / Intelligent additional light
This function can reduce the fading of the video image if light is reflected from nearby objects.
Backlighting
BLC
Conventional Back Light Compensation function.
WDR
With the help of the WDR function, the camera can deliver clear images even in unfavourable backlight
conditions. If there are both very bright and very dark areas in the image area, the brightness level of the
entire image is equalised to provide a clear, detailed image.
Click on the checkbox to activate or deactivate the WDR function.
Set the Wide Dynamic Level higher to increase the WDR function.
HLC
High Light Compensation function. An attempt is made to darken extremely bright areas (e.g. vehicle
headlights)
