8. configuration
8.1 General settings
These settings pages summarise the most important camera settings. All setting options and parameters are
explained in detail below in the instructions.
8.2 Local
Under the "Local configuration" menu item, you can make settings for the live view, recording file paths and
snapshots.
Playback parameters
Here you can set the protocol type and the live view performance of the camera.
Protocol
TCP: Complete provision of streaming data and high video quality, but this affects real-time
transmission
UDP: Real-time audio and video transmission
MULTICAST: Use of the multicast protocol (the network components must support multicast). Further
multicast settings can be found under Configuration / Network.
HTTP: Offers the same quality as TCP, but special ports are not configured in the network settings.
