IMPORTANT: THIS CUTTING MODE IS BETTER FOR SPEED
AND SUITABLE FOR CUTTING MATERIAL UP TO 30 MM.
MESH MODE
This cutting mode is used for dismantling. It re-
strikes the pilot arc and saves having to press the
trigger again when leaving the material. The cutting
capacities are the same as in the normal cutting cy-
cle whether for remote cutting or contact cutting.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
1.
RATED NO LOAD VOLTAGE
The power source in all modes of application except mesh
mode complies with the no load voltage rating requirements
for plasma cutting.
2.
CUTTING CAPACITY
Cutting thickness in solid sheet: 12 mm
Thickness of quality cut: 20 mm
Separating cut: 30 mm
3.
USING THE SET WITH AN EXTENSION CABLE
The maximum extension cable length that can be used with-
out affecting the set's cutting characteristics is 25 m and a
cross section of 2.5 mm2.
4.
TORCHES REFERENCES APPROVED:
WARNING: AIR LIQUIDE WELDING DECLINES ALL RE-
SPONSIBILITY SHOULD THE GENERATOR BE USED WITH A
TORCH OF ANY OTHER APPROVED BY AIR LIQUIDE WELD-
ING. SINCE THE VOLTAGES USED IN THE POWER SOURCE
REPRESENT A REAL DANGER TO THE OPERATOR, AIR LIQ-
UIDE WELDING MAY NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY
COMBINATION OF COMPONENTS NOT APPROVED.
5.
USE WITH AN ELECTRICAL GENERATOR SET
If the generator set is powerful enough to feed the unit (max-
imum power consumption: 15 kVA) and if it has sufficiently
stable regulation (voltage: 230V ± 10% or 400V ± 10%), it
can be used to provide the power for the equipment cutting
unit.
6.
POSITIONING THE TORCH
Striking at the edge of the sheet
Mid-sheet striking
When striking in the middle of the sheet, metal spatter can re-
bound onto the nozzle and damage it.
- To avoid this, position the torch in such a way as to eject
sputter to the side.
- Perform the cut leaving the striking point in the off-cut. Re-
lease the trigger to switch off the cutting arc.

CUTTING RECOMMENDATIONS
If the kerf does not form properly:
- the cutting speed is too high
- replace the nozzle if it is worn
- the material being cut is too thick
If the cutting arc goes out:
- the cutting speed is too low
- the nozzle is too far from the work piece
IMPORTANT: DO NOT SWITCH OFF THE POWER TO THE
UNIT IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE. ALLOW THE POST-GAS
CYCLE TO FINISH TO COOL THE NOZZLE.
