APPENDIX 2: ZEN MICROPHONE
For the best measurement results, we recommend using the ZEN microphone with Bluetooth & Wi-Fi
wireless technology. This microphone is compatible with Apple & Android smartphones. It collects the
data, then transmits it to the CAPELLA app to analyze and calculate the correction to be made.
*However, it is possible to take measurements directly from an iPhone superior to the 6s generation.
*For Android users, the ZEN microphone is required. It can be purchased on our
TRIANGLE website (www.trianglehifi.com) or from your local dealer.
Description of the functions :
Reset

Power socket
The ZEN microphone is supplied with its USB charging cable. We recommend ensuring
that it is fully loaded before proceeding to the next step. To do so, connect the cable
between your microphone and a USB port, then wait for the LED to turn green, indica-
ting that the battery is fully charged.

Reset

Solid green: Connected / Battery full.
Solid red: Recording / Charging.
Slow flashing white: Network search.
Fast flashing white: Ready for setup.
Green / Red flashing: Less than 20% of battery.
Green / Blue flashing: Performing a software update.
Quickly pressing the button: Microphone
on / Start measuring.
Pressing and holding for 2 seconds: Switch
off microphone.
Pressing and holding for 10 seconds: Reset-
then setup status. *
Quickly pressing the button 4 times:
Checking for updated software.
* The microphone can be reset either by
pressing the action button for 10 seconds,
or by using the button at the base of the
microphone (use a fine paper-clip-type tip),
or even from the app.
