power tools are very high quality. The service life of a power tool depends a great deal on you, however.
Please observe the information contained in these instructions and the enclosed documentation. The
more carefully you treat your Metabo power tool, the longer it will provide dependable service.

1 Conformity Declaration
We, being solely responsible, hereby declare that
this product conforms to the standards and direc-
tives specified on page 2.
2 Specified Use
The chargers are only suitable for charging Metabo
battery packs. Battery packs must be suitable for
attaching to the charger.
This tool is not designed for use by persons
(including children) with physical, sensory or
mental disabilities, or with insufficient experience
and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety, or have
received instructions on how to use the tool by this
person.
The ASS 15 Plus is suitable for charging NiCd
battery packs (24 V, 2.0 Ah, 20 cells) and Li-ion
battery packs (25.2 V, 2.2 Ah, 14 cells).
Never attempt to charge batteries that
are not rechargeable. Danger of explo-
sion!
The user bears sole responsibility for damage
caused by improper use.
Generally accepted accident-prevention regula-
tions and accompanying safety instructions
should be observed.
3 General Safety Instructions
WARNING – Reading the operating
instructions will reduce the risk of injury.
WARNING Read all safety warnings and
instructions. Failure to follow all safety warn-
ings and instructions may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury.
Keep all safety instructions and information for
future reference.
Before using the charger, carefully read
through and familiarise yourself with all
the enclosed safety information and the
Operating Instructions. Keep all
enclosed documentation for future reference, and
pass on your charger only together with this docu-
mentation.

A caustic fluid may leak from defec-
tive NiCd battery packs (30%
caustic potash solution)!
