4 – TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND USE
The identification data and the characteristic technical data of the machine are shown on the plate (See Fig. 4 Page 4).
LIMITS OF USE
THE ELECTRIC PUMP IS SUPPLIED ACCORDING TO THE REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICS AND THEREFORE USE OTHER THAN AS
PRESCRIBED IS NOT ALLOWED.
ALL THE MACHINES ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR INSTALLATION IN WELLS, TANK OR OTHER ENVIRONMENTS WITH THE PRESENCE
OF GAS AND/OR DANGER OF EXPLOSION.
CHEMICALLY AGGRESSIVE, FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS CAN DAMAGE THE PUMP.
MAX IMMERSION DEPTH: 20 METERS FOR AQUILA SERIES PUMPS. 5 METERS FOR ALL OTHERS.
MAX TEMPERATURE OF THE LIQUID: 40°C – MAX DENSITY: 1100 KG/M3
MAX NUMBER OF STARTS/HOUR: LESS THAN 20. FOR CONTINUOUS OPERATION, IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE ENGINE TO COOL
CORRECTLY, IT MUST BE COMPLETELY IMMERSED IN THE LIQUID TO BE PUMPED.
Depending on the liquid pumped, the user must choose the appropriate protective devices and define
suitable work procedures to protect the operator from the risks (chemical, temperature, etc ...) derived
from these substances. To be checked in the relative technical data sheets (if present).
OTHER USES NOT PERMITTED
Do not use the e
Do not use the electric pump in areas frequented by swimmers (swimming pools, basins etc ...).
Do not use the electric pump for liquids that crystallize or polymerize.
Do not use the electric pump in the presence of overpressure on the system (ex: water hammer).
Do not run the pump without liquid.
Do not use the pump in case of faults or malfunctions.
Always use the pump for the flow rate and head included in the nameplate values.
It is forbidden to start the pump without first connecting to the user system.
No smoking near the pump if it contains flammable materials
5 – INSTALLATION
Handle the pump with suitable lifting equipment as specified in paragraph 3.
Before executing any operation, turn off the power and prevent it from being reconnected.
PRELIMINARY VERIFICATIONS
Verify that the data shown on the plate, and in particular, power, frequency, voltage, absorbed current,
are compatible with the characteristics of the electric line or current generator available. In particular, the
voltage of the line voltage can have a variance of ± 5% from the nominal voltage value on the plate.
Verify that the chemical/physical characteristics of the liquid to be moved correspond to those specified
WARNING!
on the order.
Verify that the pump's flow rate and head correspond to the required characteristics.
Before connecting the pipes to the relative openings, make sure that the rotating part of the pump turns
freely and is not hindered. In case of problems please contact our technical assistance servicing.
