Before executing any operation, the feeder cables shall be disconnected.
Never touch the electric pump while it is working.
The pumps are capable of operating properly with no problems only if the installation is correct and the
required maintenance is guaranteed. Carefully follow the instructions of this manual. Use the electric
pump only when in perfect condition and correctly assembled. Must also be applied to the relevant
National and Local Regulations in force regarding safety, during transport, installation, electric
connection, installation, operation and eventual maintenance or demounting.
RESIDUAL RISKS
RISKS
Non-compliance with the instructions in the manual:
contact with dangerous liquid (hot, chemical, toxic, etc
...), contact with moving parts.
Residual risk during maintenance due to accidental
contacts in live parts.
Contact with elements at high temperatures:
•
Electric motor;
•
(when hot fluids are present in the
Pump
specific application)
Non-use
of
personal
inappropriate use of devices.
Non-compliance with procedures.
Contact with dangerous liquid (hot, chemical, toxic, etc
...) or with moving parts during maintenance (for
example in the absence of casings, pipes or guards).
3 – TRANSPORT / RECEIVING / UNPACKING / HANDLING
TRANSPORT – General notes
The transport, or rather the transfer of the machines from one location to another, must take place through the use of special
vehicles with adequate capacity (trucks, trains, vans, containers, etc ...).
Each operation must be carried out with care, avoiding knocks, collisions and crushing of the material. The machines must be
transported exclusively by qualified personnel, who must have:
• Specific technical training and experience;
• Knowledge of the technical standards and laws applicable in the relevant sector;
• Knowledge of the general safety requirements;
• Ability to recognize and avoid any possible danger.
If necessary, each machine must be kept stationary on the plane of the means of transport by means of blocks, wedges, ropes or
other integral accessories and anchored to the platform itself or to the structure of the means of transport in order to ensure its
stability. Absolutely avoid that the machines are free to move, overturn or roll.
Use anchoring systems in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's instructions. If synthetic fiber slings are used, protect them
from friction, abrasion and damage caused by sharp edges of the load. In the presence of sharp edges that could damage the sling,
use suitable corner protectors, anti-abrasion sheaths or sliding tubes.
When removing the anchoring systems, make sure that the stability of the machines does not depend on the anchoring and that
this operation, therefore, does not cause the load itself to fall.

RESIDUAL RISK MANAGEMENT
The use, transport, handling, installation and maintenance of the
machine must be granted only to trained, trained and authorized
personnel who have read and understood the use and maintenance
manual.
Operators assigned to work under voltage must be trained,
instructed and authorized. Training is the responsibility of the user.
Training, signage on electric motor and surveillance.
If the fluid exceeds 50 °, provide appropriate warning signs on
site.
The manual states that before removing the doors or pipes to carry
out inspection and / or cleaning operations, all the power supplies
(electrical and / or pumped fluid) must be disconnected and
discharged. It is also indicated that it is necessary: to block the
electrical disconnectors in the open position and the upstream and
downstream shut-off valves in the closed position, for example by
means of padlocks. The user is responsible for defining suitable
procedures and providing personal protection devices according to
the product used and its danger.
