5 Connecting the
probe
6 Operation
NOTE!
Connect the camera probe before switching on
the Wöhler VE. If you connect the probe when the
device is switched on, you will need to restart the
Wöhler VE.
To connect the probe to the monitor, insert the
•
probe into the female connector ensuring the
notch on the male connector is precisely
aligned with the red dot on the female con-
nector.
• Then tighten the gland nut finger-tight.
ACHTUNG!
Always connect the probe to the endoscope using
the 1.5 m connection cable. This is included in the
scope of delivery of the endoscope. Otherwise the
connection socket of the probe may be damaged
due to the mechanical load.
• Switch on the Wöhler VE and operate it as
described in the Wöhler VE operating instruc-
tions.
• To swivel the probe tip 180° to the left or right,
turn the rotary knob to the left or right.
The probe tip is 0° straight ahead when the Wöh-
ler logo on the rotary knob is parallel to the han-
dle.
ACHTUNG!
Never should the rotary knob be turned more than
a quarter turn in any direction.
