□ Do not crush the suction and discharge pipes [Fig. 40].
□ Protect the suction and discharge hoses from possible vehicle passages and avoiding to trample
the suction and discharge hoses [Fig. 41].
7. STOPPING THE PUMP
■ Prior to disconnecting the water fittings, make sure the pump has stopped.
■ Never disconnect the fittings when the pump is running.
□ If the delivery hose is equipped with a valve, stop the engine before closing the valve. [Fig. 42]
STOPPING THE ENGINE (GASOLINE)
1.
Move speed control to Idle position [Fig. 27 or 28];
2.
Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF (STOP) position [Fig. 29];
3.
(ACCESS J 36-50 and ACCESS J 60-75): Close the fuel valve [Fig. 30];
4.
Slightly pull the starter rope until it becomes a bit difficult. Let it come back to initial position
[Fig. 21].
□ in case of low temperature (≤ 0°C), after stopping the engine, Drain the water from the body
pump and empty water from suction and discharge pipes (see 10.1.)
