4. Where an alternative internal pressure sensor is used

with the terminal parameters and any conditions of safe
use applied to them.

1.4 Over-voltage categories
Over-voltage
Category
This is the least dangerous over-voltage
transient. CAT I equipment cannot be directly
CAT I
connected to the mains power. An example of
CAT I equipment is a process loop-powered
device.
This is for single phase electrical installation.
CAT II
Examples are appliances and portable tools.
1.5 Repair
WARNING
The service or repair of the
instrument can result in damage to property
and serious personal injury (including death).
It is important that service and repair work is
only done by a Druck approved service
provider.
Repair activities done by not approved
personnel can cancel the instrument
warranty. Druck cannot be held liable for
damage. This damage can include damage to
the equipment or a monetary fine. Personal
injury (including death) can occur because of
service maintenance or repair work done by a
service provider that is not approved.
Internal components can be under pressure or
be a source of other hazards if not used
correctly.

1.6 Maintenance and Inspection
The instrument must be periodically inspected for signs of
