7. Lubricate the cutter by putting a small amount of grease at the pivot where the
blades join and the edges of the cutter blades. Marsh suggests using Dow Corning
1292 Long Life Bearing Grease.
8. Reattach the cutting assembly to the machine by replacing the two mounting screws.
9. Refill the water bottle with fresh water.
10. Reassemble the moistening system.
1. Turn the power switch off and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the left cover plate by removing the four screws, two on the back of the
machine and the two left screws on the front panel. See Figure I.
3. Apply a light coat of grease to the gears inside. Marsh suggests using Dow Corning
1292 Long Life Bearing Grease to lubricate the gears twice a year. See Figure I.
4. Replace the left cover plate.
