9. Push the pivot shaft out through the right side plate and catch the pivot shaft spring
as it falls from the shaft.
10. Pull the measuring head away from the machine.
11. Guide the wires out through the hole in the left side of the tape channel.
12. Place the new measuring head in the machine.
13. Guide the wires down through the hole in the tape channel and around to connect
with the wires in the left side plate.
14. Replace the pivot shaft,pivot shaft spring, and the spring retainer.
15. When installing the new head, align the pressure wheel over the feed wheel and
tighten the bracket set screw.
16. Reconnect the measuring head spring.
17. Replace the left gear cover plate.
18. Replace the measuring head cover.
19. Replace the brush tank and water regulator.
