Cleaning the Cutter

7. Clean the tank by rinsing it with warm, soapy water. Rinse the tank with clear water.
Note: Do not reattach the brush tank assembly if the cutter also needs to be cleaned and
greased.
8. Refill the water bottle with fresh water.
9. Reassemble the brush and brush tank.
10. Reattach the water regulator and the water bottle.
1. Turn the power switch off and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the water bottle.
3. Remove the brush tank (with the hose and regulator attached) from the tape
machine by releasing the holding clip.
Caution! The water in the tank and the exposed brush tank post may be hot.
4. Pour the water out of the moistening system.
5. Remove the cutter by removing the two mounting screws above the blade. See
Figure H.
6. Clean both sides of the cutter by scrubbing them with warm water.
