Damage to property due to improper cleaning
Immersion in solvents or cleaning agents, or using an ultrasonic cleaner
can damage the pressure spray gun.
→ Do not place the pressure spray gun in solvents or cleaning agents.
→ Do not clean the pressure spray gun with an ultrasonic cleaner.
■ Unscrew and remove pressure cup [1-4] / [1-7] / [1-13]; this simultane-
ously bleeds the pressure spray gun via the cup threading.
■ Fill pressure cup with appropriate cleaning agent and screw onto pres-
sure spray gun.
■ Shake pressure spray gun vigorously.
■ Spray pressure spray gun clean using wand attached via quick connect
coupling [1-15] and clean exterior with a cloth or cleaning brush soaked
in cleaning agent.
■ Blow the pressure spray gun dry.
12.3. Cleaning the check valve
If the check valve [1-18] is no longer working, it will need to be removed
and cleaned.
■ Remove check valve [1-18] (see 11.2).
■ Thoroughly clean spring [2-2] and ball [2-3] with appropriate cleaning
agent.
■ Lubricate spring and ball with SATA gun grease (Art. No. 48173).
■ Install check valve (see 11.2).
12.4. Cleaning the inlet valve
■ Unscrew and remove pressure cup [1-4] / [1-7] / [1-13]; this simultane-
ously bleeds the pressure spray gun via the cup threading.
■ Unscrew inlet valve [3-8] and remove from gun body [3-9].
■ Clean the inlet valve with a cloth or cleaning brush soaked in cleaning
agent.
■ Blow the inlet valve dry.
■ Screw inlet valve into gun body.
13. Troubleshooting
The troubleshooting chart below lists malfunctions, causes and remedies.
If the faults or malfunctions cannot be eliminated using the remedies de-
scribed, send the pressure spray gun in to the SATA Customer Service
