WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF EUROCAVE
Our greatest desire is to help you find the best solution for your wine storage needs... To ensure this, EuroCave has
drawn on its considerable expertise in order to bring together the 6 criteria essential for storing wine:
Temperature
Wine's two enemies are extreme temperatures and sudden fluctuations in temperature. A constant temperature allows
wine to reach its full potential.
Humidity
It's a vital factor, allowing the corks to retain their sealing qualities. Humidity levels must be above 50% (ideally between
60 and 75%).
Protection from light
Light, especially its ultraviolet component, causes wine to deteriorate very quickly by irreversible oxidation of tannins. We
therefore strongly recommend that you store your wine in a dark place or protected from U.V. light.
Lack of vibration
Vibrations disturb wine's long development process and are often fatal for fine wines. Acting as a protective casing, the
"Main du Sommelier" supports mould to the shape of each bottle and prevent the wine from being disturbed (antivibration
technology).
Air circulation
A constant supply of fresh air prevents mould from forming inside your cabinet. EuroCave cabinets benefit from a breather
effect ventilation system, making it very similar to the ventilation found in a natural cellar.
Storage
Moving your bottles around too often is harmful to your wine. Having suitable storage that reduces handling is essential.
Thank you for placing your trust in EuroCave.
