Magnets
It is important for your headpiece to have the correct
magnet strength and orientation to avoid discomfort
or retention issues. Contact your cochlear implant
professional if there are any concerns regarding magnet
retention. If deemed appropriate, your cochlear implant
professional may replace the headpiece magnet with a
stronger or weaker magnet or adjust magnet orientation.
If needed, you may use off-the-shelf solutions to improve
retention.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Storing the Slim HP Standard
When not in use, store Slim HP Standard in the equip-
ment case provided.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Periodically, clean your headpiece using a soft cloth.
Do not use solvents. Replace the color cap every 90
days, or sooner, if a change in sound quality is noted.
