► Release the ring [8-1].
Removing the right angle chuck XS-AS
► Pull the green release ring [8-1] forwards.
► Remove the right angle chuck.
Changing tools
The tools can be fixed on the right angle chuck
via CENTROTEC tool chuck, the chuck BP-XS 8
or BP-XS 10 or directly into the drill spindle.

Tool holder in the drill spindle
Bits can be inserted directly in the hexagon
socket holder on the drill spindle [9-1] to short­
en and reduce the weight of the machine.

10 Working with the power tool

► Always secure the workpiece in such a
manner that it cannot move while being
machined.
10.1 On/Off switch [1-6]
Press = ON, release = OFF
The speed of the machine depends on
how far the on/off switch is pressed
in.
10.2 LED lamp with capacity indicator
The LED bulb [1-11] lights up when the ON/OFF
switch is pressed [1-6].
After releasing the ON/OFF switch [1-6] the ca­
pacity indicator on the LED lamp [1-11] dis­
plays the state of charge of the battery pack for
a few seconds:

10.4 Warning signals

Power tool shuts down, capacity indicator
flashes: Battery pack is empty.
► Change the battery pack.
Power tool shuts down, capacity indicator does
not flash: Power tool is overheating or has been
overloaded.
► Apply a lesser load to power tool.
► Allow power tool to cool down.

11 Service and maintenance

WARNING
Risk of injury, electric shock
► Always disconnect the battery pack from
the machine before any cleaning or main­
tenance!
WARNING
Any maintenance or repair work that re­
quires opening of the motor or gear housing
should only be carried out by an authorised
Customer Service Centre (name supplied by
your dealer)!
► Maintenance or repair work carried out by
an unauthorised person can lead to the
wrong connection of the power cord or oth­
er components, which in turn can lead to
accidents with serious consequences.
CAUTION
Certain cleaning agents and solvents are
harmful to plastic parts.
► Some of these include, but are not limited
to: Gasoline, Acetone, Methyl Ethyl Ketone
(MEK), Carbonyl Chloride, cleaning solu­
tions containing Chlorine, Ammonia, and
household cleaners containing Ammonia.
