Check whether any water has entered the model. Ingressing water must be removed at once. Observe that the water
does not enter the remote control or drive parts during emptying.
Low water volumes entering (max. approx. 100 ml per trip) is normal; it must be emptied after every operation.
Practical advice:
If water ingression increases continually, the grease has usually been flushed from the drive shaft. In this
case, the shaft must be removed and re-lubricated. Observe the notes in chapter „Maintenance and Care"
for this.
f) Ending the Run
To stop driving, proceed as follows:
• Return to land and let go of the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter so that it returns to neutral position.
• Deactivate the motor via the trimming function when the boat is close enough. You may also move the boat slowly to
the bank and deactivate the motor via the outer button in the side area of the boat body.
Never touch the ship propeller or the drive mechanism, and make sure you do not move the throttle lever at
the transmitter! Hold the boat well!
• Switch off the receiver power supply.
• Switch off the transmitter last.
Attention!
The motor and drive parts (e.g. muffler) grow very hot in operation! Do not touch these parts immediately
after operation. Danger of burns!
