Chest belt instructions
A compatible chest belt is able to detect your heartrate and will transfer this information to the com-
puter by wireless signal. Each heart rate signal received by the built-in receiver will be accompanied by
a ashing heart symbol. The measurement with a chest belt (included) is a very accurate measurement
and is unaffected by disturbances. The wireless signal is transmitted via low frequency (5.3 kHz) tech-
nique. Maximum transmission range: 130 cm. The chest belt needs 1 pc. of CR2032 battery.
How to wear the chest belt
You may adjust the strap to a comfortable length. However, the electrodes must have contact with your
skin in order to measure your heart rate correctly. It may last up to one minute before a correct display
can be seen. Moisten the electrodes slightly before wearing the strap. This increases the contact sensibi-
lity and enables a better wireless signal transmitting.
Hint: The battery compartment lid should face the outside when wearing the belt
Battery replacement:
Open the battery case cover on the back side of your transmitter and replace the old battery by a t-
ting new one (CR2032). Ensure correct polarity when inserting. Close the case cover properly.
Remarks
1. If your skin is too dry, the chest belt may not be able to measure your pulse rate correctly. Moisten
your skin and the electrodes slightly and try again.
2. If your chest hair is too dense, the chest belt may not be able to measure your pulse rate correctly.
Please only use the belt if your chest hair is not too dense.
