PRECAUTIONS
After following the above instructions, take the following precautions before connecting the appliance to the main
power supply:
• Make sure that the air conditioner has a dedicated power supply.
• Make electrical connections according to the circuit shown in the diagram inside the wiring box cover.
• Make sure that the screws locking the wires to the terminals on the terminal board are tightly fastened, so that
any bumps and vibrations caused while transporting and using the appliance will not loosen the wires and cause
a risk of sparking.
• Check the power source specifications.
• Check that the supply circuit has an adequate capacity.
• Check that the peak voltage is, at the most, 90% of the rated voltage indicated on the product data plate.
• Check that the wires are of the thickness indicated in the power supply specifications.
• In damp or wet areas, always fit a safety cut-out to prevent shorting due to lack of continuity in the earth system.
• Take care to avoid voltage gaps.
• Check that the power circuit is fitted with an omnipolar switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm for each pole.
