ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
1.Should there be serious safety problems in the electric system, the installation technician must refuse to proceed
any further with installation, and must point out to the customer the need to solve these problems.
2.The supply voltage must be between 90% and 110% of the rated value.
3.The power supply circuit must be fitted with a thermo-magnetic cut-out and with a main switch with a capacity
50% higher than the maximum amperage of the product to be installed.
4.The conditioner must be properly earthed.
5.The electrical connection must correspond exactly to the wiring diagram shown on the external unit panel.
6.Wiring must comply with current legal requirements, and must be installed by professionally qualified technicians.
7.The conditioner must be connected to a dedicated circuit.
8.The fuses, switches and cables must be of the type indicated below:

9. The supply voltage must correspond to the rated voltage for the unit
10.Should the unit's power supply cable become damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
11.Electrical connection of the unit, and all related activities, must comply with current national regulations.
INTERNAL UNIT WIRING
1.All the connection cables between the internal unit and the external unit must be of H07 RN-F type
2.Lift up the front panel of the internal unit and remove the screw. Next, open the wiring cover.
3.Connect the cables as indicated on the terminals (fig. 17a, 17b).
4.Wrap the wires that are not inserted in the terminal board with insulating tape, so that they will not touch other
electrical components.
EXTERNAL UNIT WIRING
1.Remove the wiring compartment cover from the external unit
2.Connect the cables to the terminal board as indicated on the terminals and on the terminal board itself (fig.
17a,17b).
3.To prevent water from entering, wrap the connection cables as indicated in the wiring diagram for the internal and
external units.
4.Insulate wires that are not used with insulating tape and position them so that they are not in contact with other
electrical components or metal parts, always taking care not to pull them when fixing.
