Beep signal
Locked cooking zone in operation
On the display the symbol
cooking zone concerned are shown alternately. When you use a button
from the cooking zone that is switched on, the lamp above the child
lock button will burn for a few seconds. For safety reasons you can still
turn off the cooking zone using the on/off button.
When you use a button for a cooking zone that is not switched on, the
symbol
is displayed and the lamp above the child lock button will
come on for a few seconds.
Switching off the child lock
• Press and hold the child lock button (for about 5 seconds) until the
lamp above the button goes off. You hear a double beep signal.
The childlock is deactivated.
Tip
You can use the child lock button to block all zones for 1 minute.
During this time, the zones cannot be activated. This is convenient for
cleaning the hob for example.
You can switch the beep signal for the + and - buttons on and off.
Switching on/off the beep signal (only for IDK564)
• Switch the beep signal off by activating and immediately
deactivating the cooking zone front left by pressing the on/
off button. Then press both - buttons of the left zones within 3
seconds.
'B P !' appears in the display.
• The beep signal can be switched on again by repeating this
process.
