Exchanging the filter cartridge
After 6 months you are prompted via the [filter
change] display message to change the filter
cartridge (see chapter "Special functions").
Take out the filter cartridge as
follows:

Insert new filter cartridge.
▯
Draw a few litres of water from the water
dispenser. Doing this removes air from the water
system.
▯
Pour water out of the used filter cartridge.
The filter cartridge can be disposed
of in the household rubbish.

Use locking cap
The ice and water dispenser can also be used without
a water filter. In this case, fit the locking cap.
Note
The locking cap and the filter screen inside should be
rinsed out under running water at regular intervals.
