the like. When you install the appliance outside, pay attention that it doesn't
catch excessive wind load.
 Fix the mounting bracket totally horizontal on the wall with the three anchor
dowels provided. The short side of the bracket has to point upwards (see fig.).
 Assemble the appliance onto the mounting bracket with the two winged nuts,
the cable at the underside of the appliance (see fig.).
 Adjust the desired angle of radiation. The radiator can turn 115°: from half
upside till almost totally downwards. Pay attention that the radiator doesn't focus
its heat from a short distance at combustible materials! The recommended
number of degrees to the mounting wall is 45° (see fig.)
 Fasten all screws another time firmly and check or the heater is firmly mounted.
Now your infra red heater is ready for use.
 For personal protection the installation, to which the Eurom Golden Comfort is
connected, has to be equipped with an earth fall device (max. 30 mA).
Under some circumstances it may be attractive to make a fast connection between
the heater and the main supply, and to operate the heater with a switch. Because
the Eurom Golden Comfort has a high water tightness (IP65) and for safety
reasons, such a connection has to be made by a qualified electrician.
Working
Check for every use:
- or the appliance doesn't show signs of damage.
- or the appliance still is fastened firmly. Mechanical bearing pressure, oscillating
duet o wind or rain could lead to loose.
- or there are no objects, canvas, sun screens etc. are inside the safety distances.
- or the socket you want to use gives the correct tension (220-240V~50Hz) and is
grounded.
If everything is all right you can insert the plug into the socket. The infra red heater
will start to work. When you use the appliance for
the first time (or after a long time again), observe it during the first 10 till 15
minutes to be sure that is works trouble-free.
To stop the heater, take the plug out of the socket and give the heater time to cool
down.
Cleaning, maintenance and service
Cleaning
This appliance consist of a robust and maintenance-free aluminium casing with a
safety grill.
Before cleaning remove the plug from the power outlet and wait until the appliance
is sufficiently cooled off. Wipe the appliance only with a clean and lint-free cloth or
a soft brush. Never use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes and chemical cleaners
for cleaning! Never use flammable cleaners such as benzene or spiritus. Give the
appliance time to dry before you use it again.
